Confit duck leg

Confit is a traditional French cooking method in which duck legs are salted and cooked in fat. The cured legs are cooked for a long time at a low temperature which results in very tender meat that falls easily off the bone.

INGREDIENTS: Duck Leg, Duck Fat, Rapeseed Oil, Smoked Garlic, Potatoes, Garlic, Parsley, Salt, Pepper Rosemary, Bay Leaf, Thyme

How to cook: for best results oven cook from frozen


Oven: Fan 170C / Electric 190C / Gas Mark 5

  • Pre-heat oven

  • Remove sleeve and film

  • Place on a backing tray in the centre of the oven

  • Cook for 40-45 minutes (from frozen) / 25-30 minutes (from chilled)
